Overview
During the summer, Washingtonians flock to beaches, lakes and streams from the mountains to the coast to fish, swim and enjoy the incredible abundance and variety of water resources that bless our state. Under the Clean Water Act, we've made progress in protecting and preserving our waters. Yet new threats, including reckless development and highly toxic chemicals, call for renewed vigilance and action. We’re opposing any efforts by powerful developers and other polluters to weaken the Clean Water Act. We support efforts, local state and federal to ensure accessible, clean and safe water supplies.
