This year, let's celebrate Veterans Day by making America energy independent. With war raging in the Middle East, and gas prices steadily climbing, it's time to move to a future that's less dependent on oil.

Environment Washington needs members of the Armed Services, retired or otherwise, to join Vice Admiral Dennis McGinn, USN, Retired by signing onto his letter to Congress. This letter urges Congress to take this bold and critical step to help protect America, and support the increase to a 35 mpg fuel economy standard.
